"Riddle Box"
Hand-lacquered alderwood stand

Hand-lacquered stand for a client's existing scuplture.
Precision assembled alderwood with no nails or hardware. Marble top.

The poem inside the box answers the riddle on the outside.
It is positioned so that, if it were to be placed on a table with an angled mirror, one could read the riddle on the outside and the answer on the inside without disturbing the sculpture or stand to view it.
