There is little that is as exciting as watching your mind's vision taking shape in 3-dimensional space... unless it is seeing soft maleable clay or wax becoming hardened polished metal to endure the ages with every spec of dust and subtle nuance has been captured in its finest detail for time immemorium.
Each medium has its own thrill and its own method of becoming manifest. Wax, clay, wood, plaster, stone. Sculpting is very tactile. Very sexy. Very alive. The objects allow your entire being to get involved as you touch and feel and exchange and define.
