    The Orgell residence is resplendant with some of the most exquisite treasures in Beverly Hills, such as these ancient carved Chinese frames.

    It was my task to replicate these frames in color and texture in full 3D relief to enhance the beam that ran the length of the west wall.
    I carved exact replicas of the original wood frames in clay, made molds in latex, and cast a pattern of sections in resin. These were then stained and sealed to match the original Chinese frames. They were acurate right down to the knife-planes of the originals.
