Designer, Jimmy Jacks gave me an emergency call. A large wall in Pacific Heights had considerable damage and the plasterers were making it worse. Would I come look at it and see if I have any ideas. The owner, a Hollywood producer, would be gone for the weekend. It was Friday.

The next day, Saturday, I set up scaffolding, scraped and re-plastered the wall, then primed it.

Sunday I came back and got out my rollers and brushes. By evening I was packing up the scaffolding. The mural wall done.

The mural is a straight (no trompe l'oeil illusion) mural with a garden of real trees and plants growing in front of it.
Because so many people asked about the palms in this photo (they didn't know what was real or not anymore when looking at photos of my paintings) I decided to incorporate these palms in another mural of Mayan Ruins I did later in a restaurant during a solar eclypse in West Hollywood.
