"Game Table"
Exotic wood inlay on presswood structure
approx.36" diameter
ca. 1993

The interior of the table housed a chessboard which, in turn, concealed other table games.

Creating chess pieces which are consistent of theme and recognizable as the playing pieces they represent is a fascinating and entertaining excercise and puzzle in itself.
