    Entrance to a showroom in West Hollywood's famous Pacific Design Center.

    This is all a painted illusion of stonework and vines.
    The texture of the wall is smooth to the touch, though rough to the eye.

    The painted vines are designed to travel across actual changes in plane between wall sections and wall-to-ceiling areas without betraying the 2-dimensional reality behind the 3-D illusion.
    There is no window. A powerful, focused spotlight enhances the sense of an open window.
