Painted illusion of stonework and plants.
When seen from below, the distortions of the painting look completely natural and correct.
The large crown moulding has been painted to match the faux stone texture of the walls.
The panelling is real, the stonework and scenery is, of course, just painted.
The poor photo quality is due to the video source of the image.
